Christmas Women's Refuge Collection

Dear Parents, Guardians, Grandparents and Friends,

It’s that time of year again when we do our annual collection for the Aoibhneas Women’s Centre in Coolock.

Food, Clothes and Toy Collection

Christmas is a happy time for most people but unfortunately not for everyone especially for women and children who need to make use of sheltered accommodation.

This will be the 11th year to run this collection and every year you have been extremely generous.  Thank You So Much.

We realise that things have become tough for everyone but if you can, we are asking you to donate food such as pasta, rice, biscuits, packets of soup, canned food to the women’s refuge.

Other items that would be welcomed would be new children’s clothes and new toys and toiletries.

There will be boxes inside the school underneath the Christmas Tree if you wish to send something in.

Christmas Cards

The 6th class boys will be doing their bit too.

Over the next couple of weeks they will be making recycled Christmas Cards.

I will sell the Christmas Cards by going around to each class a couple of times a week over the next few weeks.

The cards will cost 30c each.

All money raised will go to the women’s refuge.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the 6th class boys for all their hard work.

Thanking you in advance for your continued support and generosity.
