Board of Management Report - 24th April 2018

  • The Board look forward to the Lip Sync Battle on 9th June in St. Vincent’s GAA club and would like to commend everyone involved in organising the fundraiser and those participating.

  • The Board have received a Follow-Through Inspection report from the Inspectorate and will respond to the report, the Board’s response will be published with the final report.

  • The school’s car boot sale has been cancelled due to a limited number of bookings. The Board will now progress using the school car park for events in Croke Park this summer.

  • Before the end of the school year, as part of the ‘Joey’s 2020’ environment plan, the hall floor will be replaced, a new sensory room will be completed and new ICT facilities will be available in classrooms.

  • The Board would like to thank all staff who contribute to the wide range of extra-curricular activities in the school. Your hard work is very much appreciated. Active week will run from 14th - 18th May and will include Sports for Schools initiatives.

  • The Board would like to commend staff, pupils and parents involved in the very successful school Open Day on 19th April. Incoming pupils, their parents and the Board greatly appreciate the time, energy and commitment involved. Thank you for your continued dedication and support.

  • Congratulations to all pupils making their confirmation on Thursday 26th April and all pupils making their communion on Sunday 19th May. Wishing you all God’s blessings on this very special day.
